I’ll list what I’m doing and hopefully someone with some experience can spot my mistake: Step 1: Copy all RDR2 save files from PS4 to a thumb drive. Step 2: Pop it in the PC and open Save wizard. Step 3: Right click ‘Autosave’ under Red Dead Redemption 2 in the ‘cheats’ tab. Click ‘Advanced Mode’. Step 4: In the hex Editor window, click ‘Export File’. Save ‘memory.dat’ to pc. Step 5: Open RDR2 Save Editor, Open File, select File from previous step. Step 6: Make changes to and then save the RDR2 save file. Step 7: Head back over to Save Wizard, right click ‘Advanced Mode’ on the RDR2 save on the USB. Step 8: In the hex editor window click ‘import’ and select save file created in step 6. Step 9: Hit “0” on the number pad of the PC keyboard so the ‘Apply’ button becomes active. Click ‘Continue’ on the pop up box. Click ‘Apply’. Step 10: After receiving the pop up saying modifications were successfully applied, click ‘ok’. (At this point, I deleted the save from my PC and then exported the save back to the PC, from Save Wizard, to see if the changes had taken effect. I opened the new file in the Save Editor program and the changes are still there) Step 11: Pop the USB into the PS4 and copy all the RDR2 save files from the USB. Choosing to overwrite existing files. Step 12: Launch the game. I have been able to achieve two possible results: The game launches normally with none of the changes being in effect. The game produces an error message saying the save file is damaged and cannot be loaded. There you have it. I’ve got to be doing something wrong or missing a step somewhere. I’m hoping one of the experienced SW users will have an idea as to where I’m going wrong.
