Cannon Shot! hack. First off let me start by saying I am one for PVP and PVE, I enjoy working with others or taking their loot. it is part of the game. What is not part of the game is the unlimited cannonball hack. You get unlimited Chainshots and Unlimited cannonballs. There is also a hack to remove reload time for the game. If I sunk by a group of people, that normally doesn’t set me off, it is when you are seeing people using the hacks I mentioned above (able to be bought a most cheating websites. not listing here to enable more hackers). I use a sloop and expect most ships to expect to be able to beat us. yet in a fair fight, me and my friend can sink Galleons and some brigs in PvP. We just came across a group that was constantly firing at a faster rate than should be able (even if you are reloading RIGHT as you shoot it takes maybe a second or less. they were shooting 3 shots a second on EACH cannon). I have seen a hack where players take no damage from frontal shots, only back shots. (haven’t seen that one sold online but encountered it twice today. they were on the same ship, but still). Most of the players I have come across are great! We chat or fight. but when I encounter a hacker, they either don’t talk. or try and talk smack if they die. I think that there needs to be a report button of some kind just so the devs can look into this. In the last week I have encountered more cheaters than the last 2 years. Get any free recording feature, and record your sessions. Many have a 30 second feature that only stores 30 seconds at a time activated by a button. Send the videos to rare. the only hacking encounter i had, sadly, wouldn’t have been helped with a recording. that being my ship began springing holes in the middle of calm, clear waters without anyone around, and then i was 1 hit killed from behind (with a blade like sound) while at full health by no one. True, I normally play on Xbox though. (If you own on Xbox you can still play on PC so might do that). Haven’t run into that one yet. But Invisibility is on one of the packages I mentioned before. I just want a report feature to make it easier. I do the same my friend. But there is a BIG difference. In the hack you literally never have to leave the cannon. The reload timer (like .5 or .75 seconds) doesn’t exist so you get a constant stream of cannonballs. They were on a Brig at the time so that is 2 times that damage. I always buy a Cannonball Crate, a Storage Crate, and then a Wood Crate. I always make sure I have over 200 Cannonballs (in case of emergency or feeling like taking on Flame Beard). Chain Shots the most I found is around 100 but that was after 3 hours of playing and building up (if you do Flame Beard you can EASILY get twice what you spend as long as you are a decent shot). It is not the gathering of resources and having an abundance of it. it is the removing reloads. You can reload literally RIGHT as you fire, but that still has the timer mentioned above.
