Currently in alpha, the game’s new trailer showcases 8 different types of Bezogi in a well-crafted, non-gameplay animated clip that is accompanied by a comedic narrator. Bezogi is an NFT you need to have in order to play the game. With a current floor price of 0.239 ETH over on OpenSea, the game is obviously not accessible for anyone to easily play at this point in time. However, the developers describe their title as the “first crypto game for non-crypto people” and as such will offer the option to rent an NFT, allowing everyone to dive right in – and that’s not the only part that makes this open-world 3D game more open to a wider audience. Playable on PC and mobile, Legends of Bezogia won’t force anyone to use a crypto wallet upon entering the game. “While the use of a wallet is present within the game and can provide players with cosmetic options and small various boosts, it’s not essential to fully enjoy the game’s content. The crypto tokens used within Bezogia are Magical Blocks ($MBLK) and Bezoge Earth ($BEZOGE), and players can spend them in the game if they wish to take part in that side of the game.” The cross-platform title will also educate its players about crypto using “tips, quests and in-game events”. Its play-to-earn system is fueled by the governance token $BEZOGE and in-game obtainable currency Magical Blocks ($BLK). While the total supply of Bezogi NFTs is 4096, this will increase as NFT holders use two Bezogis to summon a new, unique one. They can use the summoned Bezogi to play the game for themselves, sell it or put it out for renting, letting someone else play for free while the actual owner earns a share of the $BLKs the player accumulates on their adventures. Played in third-person view, Legends of Bezogia sees players explore a massive ‘meme metaverse’, completing various quests as one of 8 different Bezogis while fighting various enemies scattered throughout the world, earning $BLK upon slaying them. As of writing, there is an alpha version players can apply for, which features Zerkzogia, one of the most dangerous landscapes that can be found in all of Bezogia. It contains a PvP mini-game called The Colosseum that sees 50 players fight it out until there is only one Bezogi standing. An entry fee in $BLK is paid to enter the mini-game, with the winner of the battle taking home all the $BLK paid for that match.
